Job Description

The Role:

As Assistant Accountant to a highly experienced Finance Manager you will take full responsibility for assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, maintenance of the fixed asset register, cash flow forecasting, quarterly VAT returns and various transactional duties.

As part of this large finance function within a large organisation, you will be flexible in your approach to work and will be happy to turn your hand to any task. This role requires the knowledge of someone who is at least AAT Qualified or can demonstrable the same level of technical ability.

This role will be ideal for an ambitious, hard-working character who is looking to pursue CIMA/ACCA in the near future, in order to grow with the business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be considered you will have experience in an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant level role and must have exposure to preparing management accounts and transactional accounts duties. Sage Line 200 experience would be beneficial as would advanced MS Excel skills.
