Group Accountant - Dynamic Media Businesses

Your new company
At the moment I am recruiting a new Group Accountant for one of the fastest growing and dynamic media businesses. The business is rapidly growing and had some successfully completed and integrated acquisitions. They have doubled their turnover and has increased their employee base.

Your new role

• Oversee the smooth day to day running of the accounts payable and cash/bank operations
• Prepare the statutory financial statements including group consolidations
• Liaise with external auditors throughout year-end process
• Work with the Group Controller to ensure the accurate and timely integration of acquired balance sheet implementation of consistent accounting treatments
• Lead on the technical accounting areas
• Work with the Group Controller to ensure there are strong financial controls across all business operations

What you`ll need to succeed
For this role we are looking for someone who is:

• ACCA or ACA Qualified
• Straight from practise (any size of practise)
• Strong technical knowledge
• Attention to detail, focused on deadlines and very motivated
