A top 100 Growth business based in North Birmingham is urgently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an exciting, fast expanding business with the opportunity to grow. This role is available to the business's continued growth over the last 12 months due to a successful merger with a partnering business. The main function of this role will be to look after the month end duties including journals, prepayments, accruals, intrastat and statutory accounts.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Have confidence and experience of working within in a supplier facing finance role * Have experience of working within a similar role within manufacturing * Be happy to look after transaction duties as and when required * Be looking for the next step up or a business where you can grow * Have experience using SAP however this is not requisite.
