Job Description

We are currently looking for an Administrator to join our office team. This position will play a vital role in the customer service and organisations strength of our company. The Administrator will provide administrative support, answer and respond to calls and emails, whilst communicating effectively with the office team and on-site engineers. Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanour.

Salary: £18,000  -  £21,000 per annum  

Position: Permanent

Start Date: Negotiable

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday

* Experience in construction industry HIGHLY DESIRABLE *

Duties will include:

  • Providing administrative support for operations/purchasing team.
  • Providing assistance to the office manager.
  • Performing basic accounting tasks, including invoicing and purchase orders.
  • Clerical duties, including filing, phone calls, emails, and preparing documents.
  • Diary management for engineers.
  • Schedule meetings and making travel arrangements for senior management and engineers.
  • Preparing reports and keeping staff records.

Experience in construction industry HIGHLY DESIRABLE


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent organisational skills. Effective communications skills. Discretion (successful applicant will be privy to confidential information). Ability to multi-task. Ability to prioritise workload. Must be competent in Microsoft office. Office experience preferred, but not essential.
