Job Description
This team is responsible for providing ongoing planned maintenance for more than 9,000 residential properties.
As part of this varied role, you will take responsibility for day to day administration to ensure the smooth running of our repairs contracts. This will involve aspects such as;
- Booking appointments with tenants/residents for major works via telephone or letter correspondence, as and when required.
- Raising work orders on the system for major works and allocating to a sub-contractor.
- Liaising with sub-contractors on a daily basis for updates on quotes, jobs, start and completion dates and completions.
- scheduling appointments on behalf of contractors.
- Submitting section 20 requests as when required for major works and tracking to expiry.
- Attending monthly H&S meetings with sub-contractors and building surveyor, as and when required.
- Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts, as and when required i.e. arranging property decants and accommodation.
- Providing administrative support to designated building surveyor.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will demonstrate previous strong administration experience. This experience will ideally have been gained with a maintenance contractor, providing planned or responsive maintenance, or for a housing association or local council. You will have excellent customer care experience (written and verbal communication skills) and strong Microsoft Office skills including the use of Outlook, Word and Excel.
