Supporting the FD with management accounts preparation and other accounting duties, you will find yourself involved in the following tasks -
- Month end preparation
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Journal postings
- VAT returns
- Maintenance of the nominal ledger
- Ad hoc analysis
- Looking at budget v actuals
- Sales reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This role is ideal for candidates who are AAT qualified or those who are qualified by experience. It is an office based role but does offer flexible hours, start and finish times. You must have experience in preparing management accounts to be considered for the role and candidates who are on short notice or immediately available are desirable. Strong systems experience, including Excel is essential.
