Job Description
The purpose of this role is to support the attraction, entry and development of talent within the business, specifically through recruitment, onboarding and L&D.
Specific tasks include:
- Learning & Development support such as: tracking staff development journeys, organization of talent interviews, timetabling and scheduling training sessions, produce group retirement reports to support succession planning. Booking & advertising training, setting up training environment (virtual and physical), and apprenticeship cohort’s administration incl. levy.
- Recruitment support on volume operational campaigns such as: sifting CV’s, telephone screening where applicable, managing candidates through the ATS, advertising jobs, arranging interviews, supporting line managers in interview & admin support for job descriptions and interview template creation.
- HR Team support such as: first line Employee Relations support (minute taking and letters for lower risk hearings), leading and supporting wellbeing initiatives, implementing engagement surveys.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have the passion, drive and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way. Whilst a HR / L&D qualification is desirable this is a great opportunity for CIPD study & mentoring from an established HR team. Excellent attention to detail & accuracy is paramount. Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage time and priorities effectively - able to juggle multiple competing priorities in a busy department. Can demonstrate & understand the importance of stakeholder relationships. Proactive approach brings ideas and suggestions.
