Main Duties: Purchasing and maintaining sufficient stock to fulfil the factory production schedule against projected targets. Manage suppliers to ensure the effective supply of materiel and services delivered are correct to specification, schedule and at minimum cost. Maintain accurate records and provide material traceability from purchase order to invoice.
You will report to the Commercial Manager and will receive on the job training as required. Your time will be split between the physical aspect of stock management in the factory and the administrative work in the office required in support. This will be a busy and varied role with the opportunity to develop in line with the growth of the Company.
Responsibilities:
Elements of this job are physically demanding (loading/unloading material) and the applicant must be capable of manual handling tasks.
Hours: Full time (39 hours). Monday to Thursday 0730 – 1630, Friday 0730 – 1230.
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000+ (pro-rata) negotiable depending on experience.
