Job Description

This is a newly created role to join a leading manufacturing business based in the Batley area. The company have ambitious growth plans and are looking to move into larger premises later this year. They are looking to secure the services of an Assistant Accountant to join their busy Accounts team. This is a varied role and will offer an exceptional opportunity for an early stage studier to develop their career alongside their studies.

Duties will include:

*Bank reconciliations
*Accruals & Prepayments
*Fixed Assets & Depreciation
*Purchase Payments & Scheduling
*Invoice Finance
*Accounting for stock
*Intercompany transfers

This role will suit a candidate with good attention to detail. The ability to work on your own initiative is something that or client is particularly keen for the successful candidate to demonstrate. Our client are looking for someone who wants to take on extra responsibility and who is ambitious and seeks out challenge.

The role will be based in the Batley site. Due to the nature of the role there is no flexibility on home working at this stage although extensive measures have been taken to cover Covid19 regulations
