The postholder will be expected to work with the team to ensure the finance function of the charity meet governance requirements of relevant legal, regulatory, and monitoring frameworks in line with Charity Commission requirements.

The postholder will be responsible for maintaining the nominal ledger, accounts payable system and cashbook function. They will also be responsible for accurate and timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring prepayments and accruals are processed. The postholder will also play a key part in assisting with the production of the monthly Management Accounts, they will also be required to assist with the processing of the payroll and the organisations stakeholder pension scheme in line with auto enrolment compliance.
