Management Accountant - Start-up **Food Business**

Your new company
At the moment I am working closely with a start-up company specialised in food delivering business who is active across the UK. The company is founded a few years ago and really fast growing. They have been able to raise a significant funding from a Tier 1 investor and continue to grow the business at 20% month-on-month. This makes them one of the fastest-growing food tech start-ups in the UK! The company is specialised in online and offline sale. They have a flagship store in central London and would like to expand their online presence as well!

Your new role

• Manage a timely month end process to produce quality financial information for the company
• Prepare the monthly management accounts pack
• Balance sheet account reconciliations and revenue reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist with weekly reporting and cash flow forecasting
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and other statutory returns
• Help support and develop the finance Assistance along with reviewing accuracy of entries
• Identify value add process and efficiencies in finance function
• Support the FD with ad hoc projects and overall development and improvement of the finance function

What you`ll need to succeed

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA Newly Qualified (2018, 2019 or 2020)
• FMCG or Food experience
• Hands-on, switched on, entrepreneurial mind-set and motivated
• Strong Excel and communications skills
• Team player

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA Newly Qualified (2018, 2019 or 2020) • FMCG or Food experience • Hands-on, switched on, entrepreneurial mind-set and motivated • Strong Excel and communications skills • Team player
