Job Description
As an Administrator in the Bookings Team, the role broadly involves the management of customer's traffic management bookings, including the submission of traffic management applications from beginning to end. This includes; obtaining permission(s) from local authorities for temporary traffic management installations, submitting applications/permits for works within the highway, liaising with customers to ascertain their requirements, following the booking through to approval, and recording this information and any changes upon our bespoke database system.
As a Bookings Administrator your duties will include:
Responsible for the running of specific customer accounts as the primary point of contact
Working closely with other departments to ensure the successful delivery of works.
The booking of traffic management installations & associated permits with local authorities/agencies.
Following up and progressing applications through to approval.
Customer development - building relationships with customers.
Proficient customer service skills.
Customer and council liaison – including attending meetings where required.
Dealing with queries as required.
Accurately updating the Company’s bespoke database system.
