Job Description

The main responsibilities of this Assistant Financial Accountant role are as follows:

• Perform the reconciliation of complex bank and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Play a leading role in the preparation and posting of journals.
• Provide invaluable support in the year-end process for the charity, working closely the external auditors.
• Ensure that all financial accounting entries have been processed on the system accurately.
• Build strong relationships with a variety of financial and non-financial stakeholders across the organisation, dealing with queries and escalating any issues to your line manager in a timely manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Part-qualified as an accountant. Strong financial accounting experience, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
