The client is a large membership body that has been operating in the UK since the early 1900s and brings together both the customer and company sides of the organisation. Job Description The responsibilities of the AR Accounts Assistant include but are not limited to:
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of customer invoices and posting to the ledger.
Credit Control - speak to external customers on a regular basis to build and maintain relationships and understand the customer's payment process.
Optimise the A/R function by improving procedure and control.
Investigate and resolve past due invoices.
Maintenance of balance sheet accounts.
Assist with the year-end statutory accounts production process.
Maintenance of customer master files and reconciliation.
The Successful Applicant
The successful AR Accounts Assistant must be part qualified to CIMA/ACCA and be studying. The applicant must also have strong excel skills including pivot tables and Vlook ups.
The applicant must also have strong communication skills both written and verbal, be a team player, have good attention to detail as well as being punctual, polite and professional.
