Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Administrator to start ASAP, to help run our warehouse efficiently and according to safety guidelines. Logistics Administrator responsibilities include supporting the supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries, and how we manage staff during our freegan box programme. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized and be efficient with Microsoft excel so computer literate is a must.

Ultimately, you will help to ensure our customers receive the right orders on time.

Duties:

  • Plan deliveries and manage customer requests regarding allergies.
  • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Print and sort order forms.
  • Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery.
  • Schedule shifts for our drivers and warehouse staff.
  • Provide information to customers about the status of their orders.
  • Help organize the Kindness Christmas routes throughout December.
  • Assist with the logistics team with the general administration tasks.

Hours:

Monday- Friday 9:00-15:00 but can be flexible

URGENTLY NEEDED: AVAILABLE TO START ASAP

Full and Part time hours available: As many days as possible at your availability: one day a week or 5 days a week

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Computer literate- essential. Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery and collection experience. Good communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management. Ability to deal with a diverse range of people, including the vulnerable. An interest in food and environment.
