Job Description

Your role:

• Liaise and work with the technical team to achieve effective systems and data security, performance and reliability in the Network and Streaming infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and improving our Network and Streaming infrastructure
• Design and implement proper Test-Staging plant to allow the Network Dept to test new technologies and services before to implement them in production.
• Work with team to provide a consensus-based infrastructure that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronisation with ever changing business needs.
• Incorporate Anti-SPAM and virus security design and management
• Direct involvement in long-term strategy for corporate IT infrastructure
• Direct involvement in long-term strategy for Network and Streaming infrastructure
• Design, implement, integrate and manage corporate network services and solutions including Active Directory, Virtualization environment, Mail, File and Print services, Internet Gateway; VPN and remote working/access; corporate network operations and integration for Office, TX, MCR, Studios, Layer 2/3 inter-network maintenance; FTP servers and access; Wi-Fi access to network.
• Implement and maintain Backup solution for corporate network services
• Network Monitoring
• Analysing system logs and identifying potential issues
• Working close to the Technical Direction to Introduce and integrate new technologies into the existing Network and Streaming infrastructure
• Performing routine audits of system, software, network devices
• Performing backups
• Applying updates, patches, configuration changes
• Adding, removing or updating user account information, resetting passwords etc.
• Documenting in the most detailed level possible any modification made in Network and Service system infrastructure
• Network and System performance tuning
• Build employee knowledge on best practices in specific areas of network services
• Adherence to standards
• Ensure that the network infrastructure is up and running
• Contributes to departmental activities and programs by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to work alone as an individual contributor, as a technical lead and as a participant in a team environment
• Support and train junior members of staff
