Job Description

This post will work independently to provide effective project fund finance controls and reporting alongside the effective and efficient administration. Essential to this role is the ability to work accurately and confidently with spreadsheets, accounting software (SAGE) and ideally have knowledge of inputting financial data in to CRM’s (Salesforce). The Finance Assistant will be responsible for purchases and funds controls and will support the Finance Manager with data entry and tracking of Project funds and other adhoc finance administrative tasks and distribution of welfare purchases to children, young people and families on behalf of School-Home Support.

Main areas of responsibility for this role include:

  • Project fund accounting and reporting
  • Financial and Management Accounts regular tasks
  • Petty Cash, Credit Card and Bank account related tasks
  • Welfare Fund Purchase Ledger & Credit Control

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate must be a confident communicator and have the ability to work independently and accurately.
