Job Description

For this position, your main responsibilities will be:

• Completing various month end accounting adjustments including accruals, prepayments, consolidation, depreciation, balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assisting with completing and analysing month end information, including putting together monthly reporting packages, responding to the parent company in relation to any queries.
• Assisting with the production of year end statutory accounts.
• Assisting with various tax compliance tasks and with the completion of corporation tax returns.
• Other ad hoc tasks related to achieving the goals of the financial accounting team including cash flow monitoring, recharge invoices for intercompany, updating and monitoring CAPEX schedules, making VAT decisions on products plus other tasks as and when they arise.

This role is perfect for someone looking to progress in the accounting world! They will be offering a sweet salary of £25k including study support. The right candidate will need to be enthusiastic and able to work independently and as part of a team.. and be able to have a cuppa and a natter in the morning. A proficient user of Excel is necessary and any experience on NetSuite is a bonus.
