Job Description

This is a busy team reporting to the Divisional Director, delivering the business objectives in line with the Company business plan. You will need to work flexibly, supporting the full team and providing cover for the labour control and admin teams when required.

This important position within the Technical and Operations Department and will produce reports in digital format using both Microsoft and bespoke business soft wear from pre-populated reports

Ensuring that the growth and development meets with our high levels of quality, profitability and customer focus objectives of the business. The role will also produce quotations for remedial work from defect information on engineers’ test reports, following up on quotations to secure purchase orders.

You will be the primary driver of quality and on time service to mutually suit our clients and business needs. Liaising with field-based operatives to ensure corrective actions are instigated in all cases

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will have a proven track record within a similar role, preferably with a technical background within the electrical industry but not essential. You will be an excellent communicator at all levels and have an eye for detail and accuracy plus excellent time management and ability to prioritise. In this role the need for accurate system records and maintenance is essential. You will also have strong IT skills, particularly in Outlook, Word and Excel. You will be able to provide examples of your experience in dealing with field based personnel in the service industry, maintaining a professional and customer focused manner, whilst being supportive of colleagues.
