Job Description

Using your excellent communication skills you will be the primary link between suppliers and freight forwarders, and with a key eye for detail you will ensure received invoices match ordered quantities. Working on our system, Dynamics AX, you will utilize its functions as well as EXCEL, to monitor and report all key measurement criteria, communicating reasons for variances. As well as external relationships we’re hoping you have the skills to develop excellent channels of communication with our planning and financial teams who work collaboratively to best service our customers

Due to the COVID – 19 pandemic our Procurement Team, who are normally office based, are working remotely from home. When the time is right, we would then request that you can regularly work from our Head Office in Elland, West Yorkshire, which will be your location base

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous experience of working in a Purchasing role ideally as an Import Administrator is ideal. Excellent communication skills. Highly effective numerically and analytically with sound Excel skills. Logical thinker with a good attention to detail and high level of commitment. Can work under pressure and meet deadlines. A great ability to build rapport with a positive and up-beat approach. Proactive approach to problem solving, taking full end to end ownership and always using your initiative. Whilst we are recruiting for a 6 month contract with an immediate start available, we would welcome applications from anyone who is seeking career progression and development within company.
