This role will also offer transaction support to the the firm's investment team.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Fund Accounting and Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation and distribution of all investor financial reporting, including quarterly and annual financial statements. This will involve the detailed review of all financials, prepared by the Fund's administrators, and ensuring they are prepared in accordance with Fund and UK accounting standards. The role will also be responsible for leading the year end audit process across all Fund entities.

• Assist with the production of bi-annual valuation of portfolio businesses, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and audit of key inputs.

• Manage all treasury aspects of the Private Equity funds, including all capital calls and distributions to investors and cash management throughout the structures

• Assisting the Fund Controller to drive the automation of the fund reporting function while seeking to improve controls and enhance MI to senior management

• Responsible for the cost control function for all Fund entities including; overview of deal budgets, management of operating expenses and driving the continual development of the firm's control function

• Liaising with the firm's advisors to prepare the annual UK and US tax reporting cycles to our investors

Transaction Support:

• Supporting the Fund Controller and investment team during the acquisition and disposal processes of the firm's Private Equity funds, including liaising with our tax and legal advisors to provide the appropriate structure

• Attend each Investment Recommendation Committee to minute the key decisions and arranging the subsequent board meetings to review and approve each transaction

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), first time passes preferred with experience of Private Equity / Financial Services 2-5 Years PQE Experience either within a reputable accounting firm, or within a private equity firm Strong numerical and detail orientated skillset with a high competency in Excel is essential
