Job Description

We are looking for an experienced legal secretary to join our firm. You will support the Partner and team within our busy Residential department. The role is varied where you will undertake a range of administrative duties as well as being able to demonstrate experience in:

• case management systems
• file management
• drafting legal documents
• dealing with contracts, submitting search applications and doing id checks
• registration with the land registry
• post completion applications
• taking and following up calls

Salary: £16,000.00-£18,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Legal Secretary: 4 years (Required)
• conveyancing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Secretarial: 3 years (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will have good typing skills of at least 50wpm, a friendly and professional telephone manner and be competent using IT packages and digital dictation. The successful candidate will enjoy working with minimal supervision, will be accurate with excellent attention to detail and be able to work from solicitors notes and audio files. You will be educated to GCSE or equivalent in Math and English with proficiency in spelling and grammar.
