Job Description

We are delighted to be working with a UK leading firm of Financial Advisors who have an interesting opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join their thriving Business.

The role will involve working on complex and diverse projects but there is also the need to complete administrative support for cases submitted via the company back office system.

Responsibilities

  • Assess new business submitted based on information presented by the adviser
  • Record new cases on the back office system
  • Liaise with advisers to obtain accurate information to complete cases
  • Produce suitability letters
  • Present case to adviser
  • Maintain knowledge to enable effective delivery of accurate reports and cases
  • Develop technical knowledge with ongoing support and training
  • Implement the research support provided by third party researchers
  • Undertake whole of market product research as required by the business

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working as a Paraplanner with excellent financial planning knowledge. Ideally you will be level 4 diploma qualified or working toward. You will have excellent understanding of Microsoft systems Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint as well as having solid communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Our Client is looking for a self-starter, proactive individual, who has the passion and drive to succeed in a fast paced, professional environment.
