Job Description

You will join as a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager in this leading Somerset and South West firm of chartered accountants, based in their Wells offices in key role, providing excellent career progression and development potential. You will be joining a highly regarded team of accounting professionals, servicing a wide spectrum of clients across varied sectors and turnovers. The firm has a strong reputation in a number of specialist fields and acts for wide ranging clients from smaller end clients through to OMBs and corporates, ranging in size from£10-£100 million plus in turnover. As a result of growth and positive expansion the partners are seeking a career focused practice background professional to oversee the delivery of audit, accounts, tax and general practice services, to a very varied portfolio. In addition, a key part of your role will involve developing relationships with existing and new clients, looking at developing services, adding value to the client base and growing the department. The role and firm will therefore appeal to a career focused accountancy practice professional, looking to progress in their career.

Job Offer

£28,000 - £36,000 plus benefits, dependent on experience, background and level, negotiable.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA, ACCA qualified, or equivalent with background in practice, at Senior or Assistant manager level, servicing a mixed portfolio of clients, with skills across any of audit, accounts and general accountancy practice services. Your experience is likely to have been gained in small, medium/large independent firm environment and/or a mix of, Top 50, Mid/Top Tier environment. You will be looking for a role where you can develop key relationships with clients and add value to their businesses and progress in a leading, independent accountancy firm.
