The Assistant Accountant - Temp to Perm duties and responsibilities:
Responsibility for the purchase ledger (processing invoices and reconciling)
Being a main point of contact for any internal queries
Building a good rapport internally and with supplier, working efficiently to resolve any queries
Reconciliation of credit card statements and transactions to nominal ledger
Preparation of Daily Cash Flow forecasts and posting of Bank Journals
Preparation of monthly reporting packs for company
Involvement in the preparation of Management Information Packs
Production of inter-company statements and liaising with subsidiary companies
Responsibility for weekly journals and production of accruals and prepayments
Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register for overheads
Weekly production of reports for management
Any ad-hoc duties as required by the Line Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience in a similar role Part Qualified in either ACCA/CIMA/ACA or AAT Qualified Previous experience of working in a similar commercial fast paced environment Capable of working using own initiative to anticipate and resolve issues Accuracy and excellent attention to detail Highly analytical and numerate Locally based in Norwich with your own transport Strong Excel skills to include pivot tables and VLOOKUPS Flexible team player Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders Ability to work in a busy environment to strict deadlines Desire to improve processes and commit to the role for the next 2-3 years, growing within the position
