This is a newly created role that has come about through organic growth of this fast-growing business who have recently acquired another business.
The main purpose of this role will be to work closely with the executive committee (CEO and CFO) and the Head of Finance, to work on the Group's 10 year business model.
There are 70 people in the firm, 6 people in finance.
You will work with the Senior Finance Manager on an ad hoc basis to assist with the budgeting and forecasting as well.
The firm's current turnover is £36 Million, they aim to increase this year on year.
Hours are 9-6pm and this role will be mainly office based.
Duties will include:
To coordinate the production of the Group's 10 year business plan
Delivery of periodic rolling liquidity forecasts
To develop and maintain flexible business models that enable scenario building of future business performance in terms of cash, P+L and balance sheet
Development of Group Executive Information Systems and Reporting
Interaction with all relevant divisions of the Group
To support the business in the commercial evaluation of new business opportunities through analysis, business cases and research
To provide insight into current and historical business performance through analysis of the data produced by the business
To identify opportunities for business improvement, define the required actions and lead the execution of improvement initiatives
To prepare / assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reporting packs and associated analyses
Preparation, maintenance and analysis of the Group Business Plan
Co-ordination of board reporting packs, through effective engagement with leaders across the Group
Analysis of financial and operational performance of the Group, both using internal business systems and through engagement with staff across the business
Financial analysis of new business opportunities / contracts
Business modelling and sensitivity analysis
Maintain good awareness of any developments affecting the Group
Develop strong relationships with management
Production of timely and accurate communications and reporting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified ACCA/ CIMA 0-4 years PQE Financial Services experience or an interest desirable Strong modelling skills
