Job Description

Due to continuous growth, Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Head of Financial Reporting for a multi-national Commercial Real Estate Services and Investment firm, based in the City of London, SE1. The role has come about due to an internal promotion. The business is currently experiencing significant growth, 20% YoY on growth to be precise, and will therefore be large scope to develop and move up within the business. You will be inheriting a team of 7 accountants and will report directly into the UK Financial Controller. You will be responsible for; Coordinating and reviewing monthly balance sheet queries, preparing/updating accounting papers for central balance sheet key processes and challenging the client teams on their balance sheet position and trends. You will be responsible for reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the financial accountants and act as the first point of contact for advice and feedback on balance sheet questions/judgements from the wider finance team and the SSC. Outside of the role, you will be the primary point of contact for the implementation of financial improvement projects which impact the balance sheet and also assist the UK FC with ad hoc project work when areas of concern or focus are identified.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Looking for qualified (ACA/ACCA) and possess significant Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting experience. Strong Balance Sheet experience is a prerequisite. Team Management experience is also essential.
