Job Description

This Assistant Financial Controller position is for a global provider of inventory management solutions based in the City of London. With billions of pounds of inventory provided to clients, as well as operating in over 10 countries, this is a brilliant opportunity for a finance professional to grow their career.
There is a lot of scope for development within this role and your primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

• Reporting to the CFO
• Statutory Reporting
• Production of financial statements for the consolidated group and all audited subsidiaries
• Manage relationships with external auditors working closely with the external audit leads
• Treasury & External Reporting
• Responsible for development of Management Information for key financial stakeholders
• Support the CFO with financing initiatives
• Assist in the production of monthly management accounts pack for senior management
• Involvement in the annual budget and re-forecasting process
• Tax Reporting
• Responsible for ensuring the preparation and submission of VAT / GST returns
• Liaising with external tax consultants regarding all direct and indirect taxes

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA / ACCA / CIMA background 3 - 5 years PQE in industry Technical accounting experience, IFRS, consolidations 2:1 or 1:1 from a Redbrick / Russell Group University Financial Services background (desirable) Audit background (desirable) Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Sun systems experience (desirable) Strong communicator
