Job Description

The role of management accountant based in the city of London is a key position within the finance team of this FTSE 100 and will be responsible to produce forecasts and reports as required, including information for financial control purposes and for Treasury, Tax and M&A departments. This role will require for the candidate to produce sections of the half and full year consolidated published accounts and related supporting analyses ensuring compliance with group accounting policies, statutory requirements and IFRS. This involves reviewing and analysing submissions from businesses, working collaboratively with the relevant finance teams to investigate unexpected items and liaising with external auditors, this includes preparation of statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries mainly under FRS 101 and maintain IFRS technical knowledge and provide advice on reporting requirements as required.This role will produce sections of the annual group budget and sector budget schedules.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This FTSE100 based in the city of London is seeking a qualified Group Accountant (ACA). Ideally you will have strong IT literacy with good knowledge of Excel (ideally including macros). Have good working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. Have previous experience of preparing or auditing financial statement. Have previous experience of preparing or auditing multi-currency consolidation.
