Job Description

The Graduate Accountant for this global insurance business based in the City of London (EC4) will report into the Finance Manager. They will take on a number of key duties including:

• Process reconciliations across various systems and balance sheets
• Post monthly journals including accruals, prepayments and inter-company entries
• Undertake monthly variance analysis and ad hoc work
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and statements
• Supporting wider finance team on audit processes
• Assist in various transactional procedures on a day-to-day basis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Recent graduate (2.1 minimum) from a top university within a numerical/accounting related discipline Strong academics and results from A-levels Aspirations to pursue an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) Some experience from an industrial placement year would be beneficial but not a prerequisite
