Job Description

This opportunity for a newly qualified accountant has arisen within the City of London (W1S), if successful you would be responsible for the consolidation and preparation of group monthly management accounts, annual and half yearly financial statements, budgets and forecasts. The role sits within a team of 5, reporting in to the Financial Controller.

It's a fantastic opportunity to get hands on industry experience in a broad role encompassing both reporting and analysis. In addition the role will have the opportunity to improve and streamline processes and get involved in projects, assist with the drafting and preparation of the financial statements by preparing various schedules and working papers. You will also on occasion be required to visit divisional offices worldwide to review the project review procedures and to carry out reviews of the financial controls in place.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this Accountant position will be ACA Newly Qualified and be coming straight from practice (Big 4/Top 20 ideally) or will have qualified following a graduate scheme with their ACCA from a relevant construction company. Based in the City of London, (W1S), You will possess exceptional excel skills, pride yourself on your ability to self motivate and effectively organise your time, ideally you will also have experience with process improvement. You will be based within the City of London.
