Job Description
We are seeking an administrator to join the Programmes team, supporting our portfolio of post-registration education for qualified health professionals. This includes freestanding modules as well as longer programmes. The role involves supporting admissions, teaching delivery and assessment through to completion and beyond. Courses are delivered face to face and at a distance and may be a day long in duration or spanning 3 years. A large number of courses are governed by different Professional Statutory Regulatory Bodies (PSRB) and may therefore operate a little differently to traditional academic courses. A high level of organizational skills and the ability to work flexibly across teams is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent IT skills with a particular focus on managing large volumes of data that form the basis of external financial reports & audit.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified to 5 GCSE passes at level 4 or above (including Math and English), an equivalent educational qualification, or relevant experience. Experience of working in a varied administrative role effectively balancing competing priorities. Experience in the use of relevant IT applications and/or systems including MS Office and/or Google applications. Ability to analyze, interpret and summaries numerical and written information for use in a variety of ways. Planning and organizational skills, e.g. meetings and events. A proactive approach and the ability to apply problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to provide accurate, concise summaries and notes. Able to work flexibly and accurately, under pressure and to tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including face to face, telephone and written communication skills. Commitment to work in and contribute to an environment of change and continuous improvement. Commitment to collaborative working with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve Departmental and team objectives. Experience of providing an excellent standard of customer service to a range of stakeholders.
