Coordinate with auditors to provide information required for the audit of the Company. Responsible for the timely completion of the year end audits for all European subsidiaries.
Maintain financial accounts for each of the European subsidiaries in coordination with local bookkeepers. Report to the Canadian head office on a monthly basis, and prepare reports for the Company's Board, as requested.
Design, develop and maintain an accounting system that allows for efficient financial statement preparation and strong internal controls.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be a fluent German or Spanish speaker who has had 4+ years experience in a similar position. This includes production of financial statements for European entities. Intermediate excel is also a must.
