There is a lot of scope for development within this role and your primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
Reporting to the CFO
Assisting the delivery of the month and quarter-end reporting cycle
Cost allocation and service recharges across group entities
Support preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flow reports
Production and presentation of management Information pack with relevant analysis
Preparation and filing of company VAT returns and corporation tax filings
Assisting the preparation of FCA returns as well as modelling of regulatory capital position
Preparation of annual Statutory Financial Statements
Liaison with external auditors and co-ordination of year end audit process
Review and monitoring of third-party service providers including review of Fund NAV reports
Preparation of annual budgets and other forecasting
Support the on-going enhancement of procedural control environment
New business analysis and financial projections
Business partnering for assigned business lines
Other Ad-hoc project work
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified ACA / ACCA / solid accountancy background Excellent Excel Skills (VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc) Minimum 1 year post qualifying experience (desirable) Preferably a 2:1 or better in accounting, finance, maths or other numbers-driven University degree 2:1 or 1:1 from a Redbrick / Russell Group University Private Equity / Financial Services / Asset Management background
