SE1. The role has come about due to an internal promotion. As the Statutory Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of the statutory financial reporting of the consolidated financial statements and individual statutory entities under Local GAAP. You will be responsible for coordinating the interim and annual statutory audits between the auditors and internal staff, including providing guidance and leading preparation of supporting schedules and timetables for internal staff prior to the audit. Naturally, this will give you a great deal of exposure. As part of your role, you will ensure that statutory reports and accounts, comply with all statutory, legal and regulatory requirements concerning reporting and accounts. You will support with the coordination of audit queries at group level. Lastly, you will work with the wider team and assist with ad hoc projects as required. This will include but is not limited to, assistance with the corporate audit, technical queries and other assurance activities. There will be a great deal of scope for development and progression within the business and this role is very much viewed as a stepping stone in to the business.

Profile

The Financial/Statutory Accountant for this multi-national Commercial Real Estate Services and Investment firm, based in the City of London, SE1 will ideally be qualified and come from a small to mid-tier practice (ACA) having gained PQE within industry in a hands on role. Candidates coming from practice should still apply due to the volume of roles. ACCA/CIMA will be considered if they have the hands-on stat preparation experience.
