As Tax Accountant, you will support the Tax Manager with the production and analysis of the tax compliance for the EMEA and Asia Pacific group. You shall have a varied role covering all areas of tax- both direct and indirect, as well as doing some ad hoc reports.
As Tax Accountant some of your key responsibilities shall be:
Assist with the preparation of tax packs and working papers for EMEA and Asia Pacific entities
Supporting finance team with monthly tax accruals and other tax reporting requirements
Assisting with the preparation of disclosures for inclusion in Statutory accounts to ensure the validity and completeness of the financial information.
Completing and submitting the VAT returns
Liaise with the Account Payable and Accounts receivable teams regarding any VAT queries
Assessing any Transfer pricing
Be a proactive team member in any other tax related work across projects within the EMEA region
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified CTA/ATII or accountant desirable Strong technical tax and accounting skills including a good understanding of UK taxation requirements and reporting under UK GAAP/IFRS preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience working within Financial Services desirable
