To help in achieving our objectives we are currently looking for an experienced, talented and enthusiastic IT/AV Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-skilled team, playing a key role in the delivery of expert technical support and exceptional customer service. The post holder will also be expected to proactively contribute to the continual development of services and the delivery of project implementations in support of our University IT Strategy.
The post holder will be responsible for expert IT and/or AV technical diagnostics in support of day-to-day tasks, will be involved in supporting the delivery of various projects as well as supporting internal and external events. This will involve working collaboratively across the wider IT Services department and with other key stakeholders to ensure that appropriate techniques and technologies are utilized to deliver the best possible experience to all of our customers - staff, students and external collaborators.
The role requires strong technical IT and/or AV support skills, excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills and most importantly a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Experience as an IT/AV support specialist or similar position in a complex organization is essential.
