Job Description

 

I am looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join my client’s team. My client who works in the construction industry is looking for their next rising star having recently promoted someone to Accounts Assistant. The Sales Ledger team consists of 4 people, but the larger team is 20 strong.

 

Day to day duties you will have as an Accounts Receivable Assistant within the Sales Ledger department are:

  • Setting up new clients.
  • Producing invoices.
  • Banking and reconciliation.
  • Running off supplier statements.
  • Sorting out any rebates and filing.
  • Checking VAT has been included on invoices.
  • Dealing with and setting up direct debits

 

A good base knowledge for this Sales Ledger Assistant job may include some of the following:

  • Currently studying either AAT/ACCA/CIMA but not essential
  • Good working knowledge of excel (lookups/pivot tables).
  • 12 months experience in a Sales Ledger role department.
  • Good communication skills

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Should have prior experience working as an Accounts Receivable Assistant and be able to deal with customer and accounts receivable queries efficiently and professionally.
