Job Description

Key duties

• Oversee and develop the Finance Assistant and produce a development to drive continuous improvement within their areas (supporting future system developments)
• Support the annual budgeting process
• Support site forecasting process monthly, forecasting all overhead variances
• Analyse and report on changes from previous forecast
• Produce Weekly & Monthly Management Accounts including detailed variance analysis.
• Monitor key overhead variances weekly and highlight when variances deviate
• Ensure that there is a clear audit trail and the site receives a clean audit report from both internal and external auditors
• Representing Finance in the Senior Leadership Team and presenting performance to site senior management and operations director
• Work with commercial finance in the production of product costings

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Part-qualified or finalist ACCA / CIMA Previous experience within manufacturing and preparing accounts Excellent IT skills - specifically advanced Excel Dynamic, pro-active and self-motivated the role requires individuals to operate in a complex and fast-moving environment
