The successful Assistant Management Accountant's responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Manage the international contractor payroll processes
Raise, record and send out sales invoices
Participation and production of Monthly Management Accounts
Maintenance of Fixed Assets register
Maintain tight credit control and upkeep of the AR ledger
Process supplier invoices from point of receipt to completion of the transaction, including timely submission of payments for approval as part of the pay run
Verify, check supporting documentation for, and process expenses claims and credit cards
Post bank transactions and complete weekly bank reconciliations
Highlight errors or issues to the Management Accountant and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate and robust record keeping
Build strong relationships and rapport with stakeholders internally and externally
Support with the company's annual statutory audit
Other ad-hoc office and administrative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the organisation
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:
Experience in a retail company
Good knowledge of Excel and other accounting systems
A desire to progress their career rapidly at a progressive firm
What's on Offer
On offer for the successful candidate is a salary of between £30,000 and £35,000.
