Job Description

• Support the Finance Business Partner in the preparation of Monthly Reporting Pack according to deadlines
• Prepare statutory Financial Statements in line with IAS & Group policies
• Support the Finance Business Partner in preparing long term Strategic Plans, annual Budgets and regular in-year Forecasts
• Prepare for internal and external audits in conjunction with the Finance Business Partner
• Ensure financial reporting (monthly management report, statutory financial statements, forecasts, budgets, strategic plan) is accurate, timely and complete, technically and legally compliant
• Prepare cash flow statements and forecasts to ensure the organisation is sufficiently solvent and able to meet banking covenants
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
• Prepare accurate corporation tax computations and VAT Returns are submitted to HMRC
• Improving the impact and understanding of financial reporting on operational performance
• Provide analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies long and short term
• Providing effective feedback to initiate change, corrective action and cost savings to aid in delivering financial targets
• Assist with the development of the strategic plan and budget/forecast process
• Providing 'real time' support and analysis to be a trusted adviser to add value that will assist in decision making

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Fully qualified accountant (Ideally ACA/CIMA/CA). 2- 3 years post qualified experience in a similar position. Hands on experience with both financial and management accounting Ideally experience with statutory reporting Experience dealing with senior individuals in an organisation as supporting the business partner. Proficiency in Excel The salary of £65,000pa will represent either a logical increase or parallel to your current earning potential for the contract.
