Job Description
This is a Bank role which could potentially offer 37.5 hours per week; the preferred candidate must be flexible to work across 6 days Monday to Saturday covering our opening hours of 7:30- 20:00, working earlies and lates as required.Please note that the term 'Bank' is where we employ staff to infill shifts to cover holidays, sickness and peak operational periods.
The job requires you to be able to:
- Provide a customer first approach in all activities including manning reception, answering the telephone and dealing with queries and complaints.
- Book appointments, manage clinic lists and enter data using MAXIMS and RIS/PACS
- Take point of sale payments using chip and pin
- Use Microsoft Office and excel to produce general letters and reports.
- Liaise with patients, GP’s and Consultants both face to face and on the telephone.
- Assist the Admin Team Leader and relevant Heads of Department in producing any reports/statistics required by the Hospital Management Team.
