Job Description

The must haves

  • Experience of working in a busy office-based environment, providing top tier clerical support, ideally within a transactional, customer service or call Centre environment.
  • PC literacy – good working knowledge of MS Office packages, with an ability to learn new systems and tools effectively.
  • The ability to put together information using a range of data from multiple systems.
  • Proven experience of communicating confidently, clearly and effectively across a wide range of audiences, both internally and externally.
  • Able to manage a varied work load and priorities well.

You’ll also play a key role in liaising with contract partners to ensure that the contractual agreement is received to enable the recharge of appropriate Streetworks penalties and validate Streetworks charges for sample inspections/lane rental/permit charges and ensure timely payment. You’ll be at the forefront of liaising with local authorities in the event of a query/challenge in relation to an invoice penalty, and to provide feedback to the relevant contract partner as well as process information received from a variety of sources and accurately record and archive in the appropriate VM system, updating when required.
