Job Description

This candidate will be tasked to streamline and take ownership of the accounting function within the business. Also to provide financial analysis and reports, train staff on business finance issues, promote regulatory compliance, and drive income generation.

Day to day:

• Direct report to the Group CFO.
• Supervising the finance team (Finance Manager, AP assistant and AR assistant).
• Preparing financial reports for all company in the group (UK entity, US entity, UK sister company).
• Analysing financial data.
• Monitoring internal controls.
• Liaising with Operation team and Merchandising team - especially regarding to the analysis of Stock Buy (OTB) and Margin.
• Participating in budgeting processes.
• Managing financial transactions.
• Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
• Developing plans for financial growth.
• Evaluating and managing risk.
• Coordinating audit processes.
• Train finance staff on finance, data and analysis issues.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management accounting / FPA role Strong excel and presentation skills Resilience to work with imperfect systems and improve processes. Prior experience in multi-channel retail business is an advantage Experience with multi-currency/country would also be beneficial Attention to detail with a good sense of commerciality and an analytical mind Excel skills are a requisite Experience using Power BI an advantage Strong organisation and communication skills Ability to communicate financial information to a non-financial audience
