Job Description

The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring a strong accounting and reporting function throughout Europe (or the EMEA-CIS in some areas), including overseeing and monitoring an effective control environment and providing strategic information and advice to the CFO and the senior management team to influence decision making and performance of the regional business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful Group Financial Controller for this City based global trading and investment firm will be a qualified accountant wiht significant post qualification experience. They will be a strong leader, with strong communication and influencing skills; have managed a large team; have previously worked for a UK listed business and have in depth knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
