They are now looking to hire an Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. This will be an initial temporary assignment for 6 months. The role will be based in their offices in London.

Accounts Payable Assistant, East London
Roles and Duties
- Processing of invoices making sure they are appropriately coded and authorised.
- Continual review of Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) figure and attempt to keep to a minimum.
- Checking & processing of staff expenses.
- Preparation of payment proposals in accordance with guidelines set by the Accounts Payable Manager.
- Investigation and resolution of debit balances on the A/P creditors' ledger.
- Reconciliation of accounts to supplier statements.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Work with the Accounts Payable Manager to establish more efficient processes around Accounts Payable.
- Involvement in accountancy areas
- Completing month end tasks (clearing down of Goods Received Not Invoice balances)
- Entering correction journals for wrongly posted invoices.
- Input into calculation of Accruals and prepayments
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate MUST be immediately available and can interview / start at short notice.
- They must also have 2- years working knowledge of the roles and duties above.

What's on Offer
The successful candidate will be paid between £13-15 per hour depending on experience.
