Job Description

Our IT department play a vital role in our ongoing success and we are now looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer to plenty company-wide projects as well as the day to day BAU tasks.

This is a broad networking role & will cover Routing, Switching & Security.

The successful candidate will get involved in plenty of company-wide projects, design tasks as well as the day to day BAU tasks.

Responsibilities

• Extensive working knowledge of IP networks, routing, layer 2 and layer 3 switching, routing protocols such as BGP or EIGRP, Multicast, VPN technologies,
• In-depth experience with WAN, LAN, VPN's
• Experience configuring Cisco routers or switches
• Experience with hands-on network engineering
• CCNP level experience (cert is not required)
• Technical design and development of solutions, project planning and implementation
• Support Cisco infrastructure and monitoring tools
• Provide technical feedback to development teams
• Firewall skills, ideally ASA
• F5 Load Balancers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong & broad Cisco skills Cisco ASA Firewalls Strong Troubleshooting skills Experience with Azure/AWS cloud networking is a big plus Financial Service skills are beneficial but not essential This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading trading business who are at the forefront of technology and offer progression and autonomy within the role!
