The role reports to the FC and is initially standalone Credit manager position with a view to recruiting direct reports in the new year as this is a phased recruitment approach. We are looking for a hands on Credit manager who will own the Credit control/ Accounts receivable division. Duties include:
Weekly aged debt reporting
Managing the month end factoring reconciliations
Develop, maintain and manage client relationships
Identify high risk accounts, and keep one step ahead on the bad debt where possible
Liaise with the account managers to resolve client queries promptly
Chase all outstanding payments to ensure prompt payment and miminise cash receipts
Allocation of funds accurately
Raising ad hoc invoices and credit notes
Act as a team player and support with ad hoc duties when work flow allows
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be ICM qualified or qualified by experience with demonstrable credit control experience as well as experience in managing a credit control team. You will need to be able to build strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, offering a personal and professional approach. High attention to detail and pivot tables and lockups in excel are essential. Our client has a heavily automated process and are keen to make sure you can maintain and support this.
