Job Description

The Wolseley Halifax branch are looking for a polite Sales Advisor to join their busy team.

You’ll be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, either 7.30am - 4.30pm or 8am – 5pm.

Your main duties will be

  • Managing customer enquiries over the phone or via email
  • Phoning customers and suppliers
  • Placing orders
  • Managing paperwork to ensure tickets are picked
  • Working predominantly in the office
  • Help in warehouse when busy

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be liaising with our customers every day, so a background in customer service would be required for building up a rapport with our clients. Experience in the plumbing and heating industry, whether as a trades-person or at a merchant, would be beneficial but full training will be provided on our products. Basic computer skills are essential as you'll be using our computer system and emails on a daily basis. We're looking for someone who is willing to work hard and use their own initiative.
