Our client are a luxury fragrance company based in the heart of London.

The company specialises in high end Retail products and sells these worldwide.

The company are currently growing and thus restructuring, needing a helping hand in their Finance team for the next 2-3 months.

This role has a high potential of becoming permanent after 3 months.

Job Description

The key responsibilities in this role, Assistant Accountant from Retail (3 month contract), will include, but not be limited to:

• Fully responsible for all Assistant Accountant duties with a focus on accruals and prepayments

• Cash flow monitoring and forecasting

• Budgeting

• Monthly management accounts

• VAT calculation and submission

• Assisting with some transactional duties, including;

• Bank reconciliations

• Account reconciliations

• Credit card reconciliations

• Processing sales ledger and purchase ledger when needed

• Accountancy and Financial Services backed

• Based in the City of London

• Paid hourly

• Start asap

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for this role, Assistant Accountant from Retail (3 month contract), will:

1) have experience in the Retail sector

2) be immediately available or on a maximum of one week's notice.
